The history of our presence in India
Tractebel traces its activities in India back to the acquisition of Lahmeyer International, the company is present in India since 1993, and the establishment of Tractebel Engineers and Constructors Pvt Ltd. in 2000. The three companies have pooled their resources and expertise to deliver a complete range of engineering solutions to support our Indian clients to successfully realise their projects in India and overseas.
With more than 20 years of experience in India, Tractebel provides engineering consultancy services for power, gas, water and infrastructure projects. The company has executed many successful projects for public and private clients including multinational institutions, EPC contractors, government agencies and a variety of other organisations. Among others, ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 certifications testify to our commitment to Quality, Health, Safety & Environment.
